About Max Vauché - His know-how

From chocolate's history to its taste, The Max Vauche Chocolate Factory alone symbolizes its entire culture. In 2003, Max Vauché became a master confectioner artisan.

His passion for chocolate is such that he wants to share it.

He wishes to tell the story of this luxurious product, to explain where it comes from, how it's transformed and how it's made.

The need to share his passion is vital for him.

In October 2008, Max Vauché received the national prize of "Stars et Métiers" for the creation of his chocolate factory. This honor acknowledges his united initiative in helping the cacao producers of Sao Tome and Principe Island. This national prize was created by the Bank "Banque Populaire" and the chamber of trade and crafts to encourage the excellence, boldness, and innovation shown by passionate industry leaders.

Since the first of July 2008, Max Vauché has widened his know-how in producing his own chocolate. The "couverturier" comes to the aid at the chocolate maker's laboratory. This worker transforms the cacao seeds into couverture's chocolate.
